HRPLSC is a provinc level NGO registered at the District Administration Office (DAO) in Rukum(west) under the Social Organisations Registration Act, 1978 in 2000. It is also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC ) HRPLSC has been working in the area of human rights protection and promotion through awareness raising activities, advocacy campaigns and community mobilisation. Objectives of HRPLSC

To promote and defend all human rights of all people through appropriate laws, policies, systems and mechanisms and its proper functioning
To prevail sustainable peace in the society by addressing structural causes of conflict and facilitating transitional justice process.
To strengthen civil society institutions as human rights defender and peace architect that can be influential and supportive to the local and federal government and political process during the transitional period of state restructuring and stabilization.
